I seem to have lost my secret decoder ring, so when folks refer to the "Big Lake" or in other posts the "Pond" what lakes are they refering to. I live near Wissota, so I have figured out that is the "Backyard Gem". Are there other slang names for area lakes?
Who do I contact to get a new decoder ring or is there an IDO to English translation dictionary?

I would suggest a different weekend. There is a tourny up there the 2nd weekend of Sept and it will be very busy.

Big Lake is actually... Big Lake. When people refer to "the pond" most often they're talking about mille lacs.

I MISS BIG LAKE!!!! I started going to big lake in 74 if you've never been there and need some help send me a PM & I'll be glad to help you. Question would you happen to know anyone the rents a cabin/house on big lake to vacationers good luck, Phil
