You you still using a 5" white fluke style plastic to catch these fish? Does the color of the jighead make a difference? Maybe I'm wrong but I thought I remember you may have been using a darter style head?

Great report!!!

Plastics, cranks and spoons are all working depending on what the fish want and where you fish.

Here's the vids sorry about that!

What is the difference in fishing browns v/s salmon?
Location, lure type etc?
Keep the great reports coming!

Some days the fish are in the same spots and hit the same baits and other days it's completely different patterns and locations. It's more about putting in the time to find the fish and see what they want to eat which for me has taken decades of refining and tuning for both the kings and trout. Although it seems to be fairly easy (which it can be some days when they are comitting suicide) most of the time there are tiny details that make huge differences when fishing out there, and anywhere for that matter.

Trout tend be be a lot hard to catch typically.

This looks like a blast! I have never fished the harbor before.I have fished Green Bay for walleyes and have caught the ocasional 5# brown. Where is the best boat landing, and will my walleye trolling gear be able to handle these behemoth browns. (8 1/2' rods, sealine line counter reels,10# xt,inline planer boards).Any advice on where to start and what to use would be greatly appreciated.

thanks
Dan

Boy! if the fish bite that well while playing the music from the radio station, imagine how things would be if you started paying Johnny Cash!

Those where some pretty good videos Eric. Hope to be over there soon. Do you think Labor day weekend will be busy over there. Wondering about coming over this weekend or if it would be lees crowded the next weekend.

Thanks again.

Should be fine this weekend and the fish are really piling up now so I would come this weekend. Tons of fish there now each A.M and evening has been good.

I can't agree with you anymore Chris that was too much fun and Big kings and good music is as good as it get on the water!

Well the bite has gone down hill!!!!

Fished the past 3 days and Yesterday morning we were 5 for 7 (not horrible) but yesterday evening sucked!! It was the worst trip I think I may have ever had down there with only 1 king. High pressure, gin clear water, full moon, boat traffic, warmer water I'm sure were all keys to the bite going south and fast! Weds and Thursday were alright as well with 5-7 fish each time out.

Fish are there but were shut down, it will only get better ecspecially if the water warms back up! 1st light and last light have been the best the past 3 days but when things pick up you'll be able to catch them all day long again

What spinning reels would you use for fishing the harbor like this? And, what line would you use? Would you use baitcasters, as well?
Thanks,
Al
