I have a Expidition C handheld, with a Navionics Premium 08 chip, seems to work good after trial and error using it. But after reading on this site would the Lakemaster chip be a better choice for lakes in central/northern Iowa, I fish hardwater 3 times a week/evening at least, 1st time user of a gps?

im partial to lakemaster, so my opinion might be biased.
ive read on other sites that the difference between nav and LM is that the accuracy is better on the LM
navionics crams a bunch of maps on their chips to give you (im assuming) more 'bang for your buck'... but on the other hand, it bogs down your ability to scroll through the portion you are on. just like any other type of data storage, the more you have to load and look through, the more time its gonna take...
