Can anybody help me with Calamus? I am meeting family up there and have never been there. Any fishing suggestions?

They have some of the top carp tournaments in the state. Both hook and line and archery if you'd rather shoot'em.

If it was me I would troll crankbaits varying depth. I would focus on drop offs/points on the main lake basin looking for whites and wipers. Watch for surfacing shad and if you see them fish under the school of shad.

I cannot really help with locations, but a friend of mine was there last weekend and did very well on walleyes. I'll try and find out more.....
