Sweet rig! A few years ago on pool 11 I came a cross a big raft with a shack built on it. I idled by it and there were 2 hippie couples on it. They had 2 bikes rigged up for propulsion, clothes lines and had some plants in pots. The rig was very colorful and well built it seemed. I wish I would of got a picture but left the camera in the truck. They waived and seemed to be fairly content. Through out the summer I heard people talk about the raft and I never found out what happened to the magical raft ride. Dan

I saw 2 guys building a raft at the 494 access a couple years ago. They were bringing crap down and putting it all together in the turn around. Didnt a couple girls die trying to raft their way down? Couldnt get out of the way of a barge or something like that.

I gotta wonder how he's going to hit the lock instead of the rolling over or into the dam. Lots of chances to drown between Pool 2 and Pool 26! Seems more like suicide than adventure....
