Deepwater Largemouths

I did real well last week with a new (for me) bass technique, trolling large cranks in 25 - 35 FOW. The lake was very clear with minimal shoreline vegetation. Keys were a very long line and working the bait to make the action erratic. The SR9s were maybe running at 10'-12' but I guess the clear water brought those fish up. 20' Tail Dancers worked too. The bite was good during the day and did not seem affected much by the cold front that went through Friday. Got numerous bass from babies up to 5 lb, a bunch of northerns, and the usual overachieving sunfish.
