Irecently had a flashback of some good times that my family had in Hayward and was wondering if anyone knows what happened to a place called The Hillside Resort on Big Round Lake. We went up there for many years from the fifties through the early sixties. It was owned by Frank and Vera Urek (sp).
One of these days I would like to go back there and see if the resort is still there or if it has been developed like everything else has. Sorry but I don't know which road it was on but I do remember that it was a gravel road and very dusty driving on it. It was also a steep walk down to the beach and the wooden boats that came with the cabins.
If anyone remembers let me know.

I'm not quite an old timer but I believe the resort your thinking about was on the East side in Musky Bay? It's condos now. Dennis
