This weekend was a perfect time to be out on the lake, 75-80 degrees, flat calm, great sunsets and a full moon. The fish could have given us some more cooperation but we did put some smaller rainbows and kings in and this 14lb lake trout. The past few days we have been fishing the 250-500 foot depths and orange spoons at differnt levels have been taking the fish. The water has warmed to 65 degrees and there is no sign of a salmon run yet. The weather is giving us July conditions, so we'll keep working the deep water.
Perfect time to be out on the lake.
