zx 2050 with 225 4-stroke Prop?

#818103 - 09/09/09 09:49 PM

Looking for the best performance on a ZX 2050 with a 225 fourstroke. What is the proper engine height and best prop?
Thanks

Welcome to IDO Skeeterbear. Them Skeeters are more and more popular around here everyday.

I wish I had an answer for you but I'm sure someone will chime in with an answer very soon.

Welcome to IDO-

Do you own one now? If so what sort of speeds are you getting, RPM's and current prop.

Should be an upper 50's boat, maybe touch 60 if you had it set up perfectly with hardly any gear.

Looking at buying one this weekend. I noticed the motor was mounted as low as it could go so I am just guessing it will need to be raised to get better performance.
