Only fished this lake once in the winter and do not recall how I got on the lake. Thinking of trying it on Wed. Looking at lake 3 anyone have any directions on how to get to the public access? I will be coming up 61 or 35 from the south. Anyone doing any good on this lake as of late? Thinking to try it for Muskie and or Bass. thanks Zoomer

Take 61 to 97 east. You'll see the lake on your left and a while later you'll see the little brown sign for the lake at North Shore Trail, take a left and there will be two launches on your left as you head north. Either work.
Great lake for Muskies and Bass.
For bass, I fish the docks and the weedlines. Pick any stretch of docks and a lot of the weedlines on lake 3 are good. You can fish them however you like but I usually do a jig worm for the edges, and swim jig over the tops and that gets me pretty well bit. The obvious looking lake structure in 5-12 feet produce well.
As for muskies, I've seen plenty caught (and seen plenty follows) right where I bass fish.

Made it out Wed Morning/ afternoon. Never did try for Bass. Day started out overcast and a SE wind The big yellow ball in the sky came out and killed the wind. Tough lake to fish as weeds were all the way to the top. Did manage 3 follows and saw ! absolute log basking in the sun. Threw several lures at him and he did not budge. Thanks for the info on the landing Zoomer
