I would of thought some one with a coast guard certified captains guide license would be towing someone out of trouble rather than into it. Just my thoughts.

For the rest of us that did not see it happen. Can you fill us in with more specifics? Who, What, When, Where....
Thanks,

If you click on the Mississippi River – General Discussion at the top, you will see Jon Jordan’s post about towing that dude who was going to float the river ‘all the way down’. It seems walleyedork is giving his thoughts without putting much thought into it…

Or maybe WalleyeDork was the guy on the raft. And he forgot to put his weed stash in a waterproof bag before the raft broke apart.

Assuming your poke is at me..... I don't have a guide license. Never once guided. Don't have or even plan to get a Coast Guard Captain license. Just a guy who fishes a lot and spends a fair share of time on pool 2.
The man asked for a tow, not a rescue. He got one! Don't read into it too hard.

Just caught sight of this thread and normally it would be left to die.
Just wanted to point out that if I had to count on one person to cover my back it would be Jon. And just like his nature, if someone needs a hand he's there for you, whether he know you or not.

PS A CG license is needed for towing IF it's for consideration (being paid for it).
I'll lay out a $10. bill saying he didn't ask for money.
