Well, has the fall bite started yet? I've been out of the rotation for a couple of weeks, but after the youth shoots the deer, it will be game on until ice up. River looks low and clear, should be some good fishing going on somewhere.....
Caught one keeper last night and lost another bigger at the bank. Also lost something which was the biggest of the night guessing a northern. Rapala floating minnow. Crankin from shore. I believe the time is here and only going to get better!
They've been catching crappies on the cedar down this way. A white jig below a bobber tipped with a minnow. 17 one day and 18 the next in a couple hours both times. Hit the back waters and fish around snags.
