Took the wife & kids out for a couple hours last night. We set up on a steep drop that bottomed out at about 20fow. It didn't take long and we were all cathing fish, nothing huge, but my wife, daughter 8, and son 5 all caught their first sheepie and catfish. In all we ended up with abou 7 sheephead, 6 small cats, and about 10-15 small gills biggest barely making 7".
The presentation we used was a simple dropshot with a piece of crawler. It didn't take long and everbody was handling the dropshots like pros. As I said before a steep drop by riprap on the main channel in about 20',right at the bottom of the break seemed to be the sweet spot. All in all a good evening on the water.

Way to get the family out and on some fish. No matter the make, it is always fun to play tug-o-war with the finned critters
Thanks for saying hello at the bait shop the other day too
