The new-for-2010 Skeeter WX1900 deep-V boat finally landed on the Skeeter Boats website:

I'm fairly certain that there's a misprint in the max HP entry: the WX1900, I believe, is rated to carry a 225.
Looks like another nice entry into the walleye/deep-V market.

Other than the new 2010 price, what is significantly "new" on the 1900 model?

Well, it's longer than the 1880, has a redesigned set of consoles, has a redesigned transom to allow it to carry more HP, is rated for 225 (1880 was 200HP max), has optional snap-in carpet, and sits on a standard tandem axle trailer.

Did the 1950 get replaced already by the 1990? It is getting hard to keep up with all the changes. Just as you thought you were getting things figured out.

If the specs are correct, the length, width, and weight are all the same as the 1880. My guess is that the HP rating would remain at 200 unless they really changed something.

The WX1900 does replace the 1880. The 1880 is now the 1850 and will only be rated for a 150 max. The WX1900 has modular consoles (you can color them different than the inside color), snap-in carpet and a redesigned dash and bow panel. Basically it's a smaller version of the WX1990 and WX2100. As you know, it wasn't recommended to put the 200 fourstroke on the 1880. They designed the hull so they could put the 200 fourstoke on this boat. Now Skeeter has a boat for their 250, 225, 200, 150, and 115 fourstokes. That was their plan all along. I have already seen and nosed around a WX1900 in person. I like the boat alot. There are other minor cosmetic changes as well. Most of them you'll see when you nose around it a bit. Obviously the Double "S" stripe on the side has been updated to the newer style as well. The top caps on the boat are different as well.
Jason, I could be wrong, but I believe they only plan to rate the boat for a 200 and the length and weight should stay pretty much the same from the 1880. I could be wrong though. Skeeter has been known to adjust things once they get more dealer input. They aim to please, and that is what I like best about the company.
I recommend finding a dealer near you that has one and check them out. They should be showing up at dealers now. I know one by me in Appleton, WI that has a 1850 and a 1900 in stock already.
By the way, this is my first post on here so go easy on me. I love the site. Just felt I had to chime in about the 1900 because I have been doing lots of research on it since I knew it was coming out. Steve from Skeeter and my dealer have been very helpful with this. Thanks.

Go easy on you? Heck, that was some solid info. I think guys will welcome more of the same in the future with open arms. And one more thing... welcome to IDO! 
PS - with regards to the max HP on the 1990 I'm pretty sure the plan is to go to a 225 max rating but as you said... things change.

Thanks James. You are correct about the WX1990, that should be rated for a 225. I guess we'll have to wait and see.
By the way, I saw an episode of your show last winter that turned me on to the draggin' jigs. I had to get some and try them out around here. Man they work good! The blue is a great color for me.
If I ever make a decision on which Skeeter to get, I'll be sure to post pics of it. I've been running the 1880 since it came out in 2005. I've had two of them so far. Man I LOVE those boats! They fit my fishing needs just perfect.

Snooping around on the Skeeter Website it is interesting to note that there is only a 25lb difference between the 1850 and 1900 at 1800 lbs and 1825 lbs for the 1990. There could be an error the site though. The specs on the 1850 and 1900 seem to identical other than the length on trailer with swing-away tongue.

I would be a bit leary of any info on boat manufacture websites as models change. They all do it and it drives me nuts. They use the same pictures for multiple boats etc... I know it saves money.

Thanks for the info Mark. I too have an 1880 (2006) and I did not see much different than the usual yearly cosmetic and numerical ID change-overs on the website. I think the Skeeter website has always fallen a bit short on true specs, sound info., etc., but maybe that's just me. I'll have to look at one in person because I can't really see how/what has significantly changed; nevertheless, I am interested. ...It may be time for an upgrade!!
