The brother-in-law was looking for a great lake to pan fish in the first week of june. Was wondering what the reports are like for wissota this time of year and what is the average size of fish

In short: excellent action and good average size, depending on the kind of early season weather we experience.

The gils in Wissota have really come on the last ten years on Wissota since they stopped dropping the level of the lake in winter, there are some real dandy's in there and you wont be dissapointed planning a gil fishing trip here.
