A few weeks ago we went 4/7 on northern on the St. Croix north of Stillwater in about 2 hrs fishing. Definitely some good action. All fish were 30-37''. Within an hour or so of the cities I'd reccomend the upper st croix or pool 4.

My favorite areas on the pond for fall pike are the weedbeds in Garrison Bay and along the north shore. Working them over are a great way to pass the time before the eyes turn on in the shallows at night.
