Had a tough Plastics bite this morning as the fish seemed to be between Nuetral and negative. Did some exploring and got onto a deep water slab bite by accident. NICE!! Ended up tying on a 24 inch mono lead to my 3/16 oz. H20 precision jigs, and then it was LIGHTS OUT FOR EVERYTHING. Pike,Some big slot eyes, limit of 15-16 inch walleyes and some nice 12-13.5 inch slabs. SOMETIMES.....SOMETIMES that Mono lead helps turn nuetral fish over the edge for those like me utilizing Braid!! Deep Clay/Rock Transition areas..........HOT!!

Where do you head out onto the lake from? Are you up by T Bird and RLHB?
I would like to bring my father up for a quick trip this Fall but don't want to have to run too far down the lake, as he may not be able to handle the pounding.
