My buddy Jakob and I made it out to the Rum River on Wednesday for some Smallie action and we were not disappointed. Within 10 minutes of being on the water Jake boated 2 nice fish in the 18" - 20" range. After 4 hours of fishing we ended the day with 11 fish and one double. All the bass were 16" - 20". We also had a couple bonus Pike. Mine was about 32" and Jakes was 28". All fish were CPR'ed. Deep-Runner Raps were the ticket in a few different colors. AWESOME day on the water! Perfect weather, great company and a killer bite! I hope to make it back a few more times before the fall bite dies down!
