Jon you should just give up on them for the year and chase some eyes. You would look sweet playing bumper boats in your pretty boat. I went out last night down by the Dubuque dam and had 5 nice eater saugers. Not too much grass floating anyway. I would look for the warmest water with any weeds left over and toss swim jigs or spinnerbaits. Good luck, Dan
fished PDC last weekend, caught quite a few larggies fishing for crappies. Nice size 2 I might add around docks marinas.seemed like they were fairly deep just like the crappies, plus a few jumbo perch in the mix. The ell grass was lousy in the channels. Good luck and let us know how ya did
