ATV Chains

What should a person expect to pay for a set of ATV chains? Want to get a set before ice season gets rolling. Places to purchase?

Nope. No Cabelas card for me. My dad has a neighbor who custom makes them, but I don't know what kind of a redneck mess I could end up with. Then again, some of those farmers are the best engineers I've ever met.

If you could get him to make a set of X or H patterns that would be sweet. you can make them too if youve got the time. are u planning on leaving them on all season or putting them on just when you need them? If your leaving them on dont waste time with the bungies and just let some air out of tires, sinch them up then air up to tighten. Solid fit!
dennis kirk too depending on size, i think $100 free shipping

I'm only planning to use them early and late ice(glare). Or if the snow dictates the need. I guess, only when required....

I talked to my dad last night. Sounds like we might tear into this project next weekend when I'm home. I'll take a tire with and we will custom fit them. Sounds like a great beer drinking opportunity.

Geez Koot. You sure have been active a lot lately. Maybe you'll even have time to go fishing with me this winter?
That is, if I can spare the time...

What the drinking class?

I almost took offense to that comment.

Probably just Kooty now that you mention it.
Last time I fished with Kooty in his hood the ice was so thin we couldn't even stand near each other!
