Advice from a friend of mine who is an ace walleye fisherman. Find any place where water runs into the river. A culvert, creek, ect.

not much here as of late. With the water coming up,our dock just might produce a few.I would also check out the pier at baypoint.

The shore along and in front of Levee Park, in front of the train station, is giving some action to those who fish there. I saw a fella on Monday pop four nice waldos there in less than 15 minutes using a jig and 3" chartreuse twister tail. Spring or fall, this particular area gives up fish.

Just plain tough & slow for most folks.Fish are being caught, but patience is mandatory.
