Headed out for a while tonight

#832327 - 11/04/09 05:09 PM

I have some dead suckers left over from the weekend so I'm planning to head out for a while tonight either up to Coon Rapids Dam, or to Mill Ruin Park or somewhere else in town.

If anyone is interested, leave me a comment here and I'll check back before I go. Anything in the Northern or Western metro is cool, maybe we can hook up!

Going for channels?

Indeed. I'm still hoping to find a 10#+ fish before ice-in.

Also I was planning on shore fishing, just FYI. Unless someone's doing the OOH LET'S GO IN MY BOAT dance...

Yeah I'm not sure I want to take my canoe out in this weather that close to the dam.

Where on the rum were you thinking?? I have have craptastic luck right in Anoka so far this year although I did catch a MASSIVE emerald shiner in the current at the base of the dam.

So how's it looking? I should probably be ready to head out in 30-60 minutes... Anyone? I'm not sure about the rum... I'm thinking more toward town and the river, but I can be pursuaded.
