I saw this on the noon news today. This actually happened in a liquor warehouse in Russia. The guy had a minor leg injury, but i think they said that $200,000 worth of booze was lost. Thank the lord -- no severe injuries, but still funny!!

At 4-3 its tough to call the Green Bay season a train wreck, if it ends in 4-12 OK - thats a train wreck. But if I recall nobody was picking the Packers for the Super Bowl at the begining of the season. If anything things in the NFC North have played pretty much par for the course considering expectations. Detroit Lions = train wreck. KC and Oakland = train wreck as far as a NFL franchise goes. Green Bay may not be on top right now, but if I recall before Brett Favre got to Minnesota they were just having average seasons with sub par QB's and flaming out without any deep runs into the playoffs. Unless all your wildest dreams come true for this season you will be in the same boat next year. No franchise QB or at the very least you get to enjoy a waffle on Brett as he figures out if he wants to play, holding your franchise at ransom while you wait for him to figure out what he will do. Assuming he makes it through the season without more arm problems creeping up or something worse. Hope for the best, because in any one week your favorite team/ season can go from the apple of your eye to train wreck, just ask the Jets last year how fast there season faded on the golden arm of Favre. One thing you can count on- he will keep playing through injury for better or worse. The funny thing is I cant recall one QB 40 or over that ever on a superbowl

Maybe this will be the year. Sure wish we'd of hard Favre all those years he was winning games in GB. You got to take the good with the bad. If he didn't gamble and make a few bonehead plays once & while, he wouldn't be the QB he was or still is. How many games would he have won on the hallowed Lambeau Field if he hadn't risked a few bad passes or played through some injuries? It seemed to me that more times than not, he came out on the winning end. Even at 38 years old he led the pack to a 13-3 record and within 1 game of the SB. Hope he still has enough in the tank to do that for us.

I stopped reading at "But if I recall nobody was picking the Packers for the Super Bowl at the begining of the season."
The Packers went 4-0 in the preseason and everybody was kissing their . Train wreck might be a little harsh, but what would you expect from a Viking fan? After Tampa wins Sunday, then we can say train wreck.
Here's a link to some preseason picks. Note how many picked the Packers to win the North.

What I can remember about that 1 game from the superbowl is that he threw a bonehead pick to keep them from going to the bowl, also from week 13 on he threw 8 int's with the last one being the killer so ya, he is doing good now but lets see how the golden boy plays towards the end of the season and if he falters it sure as hell will not be his fault it will be something else (just ask the jets).
