They sure weren't very active Saturday. We hit it hard...sun up to sundown. We hit a bunch of wingdams, riprap, rock humps, etc. The only guys who caught anything were using minnows, and they said they caught a few small Walleyes for about an hour. The flow was up, the water looked a little muddy, and the temp was 43 degrees. Great day to be on the water but not great for "catching".

Also ran into some Largemouth in the bays while crappie fishing, holding tight to down'ed timber.

Nothing to be discouraged by Rootski! From the action our boat saw, this weekend’s bite was far from where we should be and a tough bite all around. Most of the bass we stumbled upon were completely accidental and less than consistent.
Weird enough, the walleyes we did catch clobbered the bait, however our numbers were quite low.
