I am wondering if i should get a vexilar fl-8 or a marcum lx-3. They both look like good flashers for ice fishing, any opinion would be great.

I think i might go with marcum, i should have read the forums first before i posted this ha ha.

I have both but prefer the using the Marcum. This is mostly due to it being newer and color. I would say buy which ever one you can get the best deal on.
One question after watching the icefish today show yesterday. Does the vexlar have a adjustable zoom feature on it? The LX3 does. If the Vexilar does not go with the Marcum.

Short answer...Get the Marcum, especially if it has the tc update.
If you do a search on here, you will find a ton of helpful info and many experiences with both units.
