Had one heck of a weekend on the water in search or ol' marble eye. Friday night I legged it up to my buddies in La Crosse to fish Genoa the next morning. Got on the float early and had minimal success. Early bite was good, but the weeds started rolling threw and then a nice 15 mph north wind. Well, after calling that a day, I headed south to the land of Iowa and mom and dads. After spending the night at their place and enjoying some delicious home cooking, I headed to Guttenberg. SUCCESS!!! The bite wasn't off the charts hot, but I must say that I did bring home a nice limit of 15-18" walleyes. It was great to get out and fish the midwest and the good old Upper Mississippi. Anyway, hope everyone else had a great weekend as well and tight lines!!
