Just wondering how many members found out about In-Depth from the TV shows.
Seems the membership base is spreading out and I can only assume it's from the TV exposure.

It is common to register 50 - 75 new members within an hour or two of an episode airing. So yeah... TV's good for growth.

I registered round about the day James guided us to a "stringer" (all released) of walleyes that had the top 12 fish weighing about 80 pounds. Plus a 12-13 lb'er lost at the boat. Now THAT was a good day!!!

I was searching for some river info when I stumbled upon Fish the River. Was a lazy, non-contributing, lurker back then. Had no idea James was working on shows back then.

Ran into someone at the Hudson landing one day in October of '07 the 29th I believe, when I was showing off and getting pictures with an 8lb'er from the day, he told me about it. Sure glad he did

yeah.. well how come James hasn't called me to be a guest star? I am pretty( big).. and have been in sports broadcasting(radio because I have the face for it)...
how come he never asks a slob, oh, er.. a guy like me?
honest James I promise not to wear my "fishing shirts" if you film.. and I can talk about the tackle industry since 1973..
I can't understand why my wife doesn't like my 'fishing shirts".. they only have holes on the outside ...

I first saw it on the shows which are saved away on dvr and watched multiple times. I try to wear them out like a vcr tape but just can't seem to do it!! Great work James keep up the informative yet entertaining amazing fishing.

Mr. NorthStar...they are right above your nose! Each show is streamed on IDO right after it's aired on TV.

I found the site back when it was fish the river when I was looking for a guide to fish pool 4 for my first time. Took a trip with James and have been around since. Didn't post much early on because I didn't know anything worth sharing. I still don't know anything, but post anyway.

I joined FTR, (Fish The River) back in May 2001, which is within a few weeks, I'm sure of the very beginning. My member no. is 88.
I probably first heard about "this new web river site" from Steve Vick back when he used to do creel surveys for the dnr on pool 4 and lake pepin. Steve a year to more later, was the manager at Evert's (person who trained in Dean to take over).
Also early in 2001, I remember going thru the no wake zone around covil park, and this guy was going the other way by himself. I yelled over, "is your name James?", he said Yes. I turned around and we floated together for about a mile talking and chatting river fishing, and this new site.
Congratulations James with all your success and hard work. Your product just keeps getting better and better.

It still amazes me how many "lurkers" we have that are loyal IDO followers.I have managed to shame a few into registering,but the most common reason I hear for not posting is "I am no pro".My response is,it would be pretty boring if IDO was a site with nothing but pros. The everyday sportsman is what makes this site what it is and what it will be in the future.Hope we can call a few more of you "Ex Lurkers" soon! 
In fact,next launch is on me for anyone coming on board and out of the "lurker closet"!

I did a search for information on Pool 4 and for some reason this site looked the most interesting. And the longer I stick around... well I'll just say the more fun I have.

I think someone from another forum reccomended this site, maybe Moreyes, can't remember though.
Went most of the season not connecting the TV show with this forum, the fog clears slowly sometimes..

Whenever I run into anybody and the talk turns to walleye fishing or fishing in general I mention the site. I have no idea how many guys I've turned onto the site; but I know it is at least a few.
