Whats your prediction for the Vikes and the Bengals 9-2 Vikes and oh yeah Arizona 9-3 Vikes and Toss in Carolina 9-4 Vikes.

The Vikes have had an extremely easy road this year which they played 1 good team so far and what happened against those Steelers (the 1 good team) They lost Didnt those Vikes Struggle to get a 17 point stretch on the 1-8 Lions The Vikes got a bumpy road coming up (other than duh Bears) hopefully that well oiled machine will hold together and that old man tossing the ball dont break a hip

Really, is that the best you got??

We already know, we are lucky and have a weak schedule. Thank you football gods. The old saying, you can get beat on any given Sunday still holds true as far as I know. Do I need to remind you of the Tampa game?

Per your logic, you only have 1 tough team left on your schedule(Pitt). So, GB should finish at 11-5 this year. Why is our schedule so much easier than yours?? Cincy, Giants and Arizona are not sluffs.

You gotta bring it better than that. Maybe try, stories about your cousin's sister's friend's aunt who was once hit on by Brent, the pervert. Or maybe we could talk about how great your fans are compared to the band wagoners in Mn. That one never gets old.

My prediction? The Vikings are already packing up to move to LA. They've had FREE rent at the dome for the last 8 or 10 years, the Sports Commission just offered them another two years of FREE rent, and the Vikings are "insulted" by this offer. They're positioning themselves for the move.

Here's the other thing I'll never understand. Before a guy like Ziggy can buy an NFL franchise he had to have made a gob of money in his life. High powered, top flight business guy with zillions of dollars. However once he actually owns the team, NOW he finds out that they're losing money hand over fist and need a new stadium to keep from going broke? How does a guy go from being a big time businessman to being an idiot who didn't see this coming ? You never kicked the tires or look at the books before you bought the team? Come on....

OK, I'm done ranting.

The NFL makes like 9 BILLION dollars off of the media before even one ticket is sold, each year. Wilf's are very wealthy, but it's like every other owner they believe their product (team) is a community asset so the communities should pay for the stadiums. If they were willing to share the profits I might agree with them. To say the Vikings are losing money is absurd. Maybe they aren't making what the other owners are making but they are still making money. Like you said, the Wilf's didn't get stupid overnight.

Personally, I think Chilly and Bevells are over matched.
I could care less if the moving vans were at Winter Park tomorrow.
I think they finish 12-4, get a first round bye, win the second round in overtime. Win the NFC championship game. Lose the Super Bowl. Chilly runs for Governor, wins and builds a new stadium.

To those politicians attempting to get the money from the Lessard bill we just passed. Use the word "protect" to steal our money and we will "protect" it by creating a fund to unseat elected officials who try and steal our money.

rest of season

#836271 - 11/20/09 07:04 PM

i looked at the vikes schedule regular season.

They have the potential to run the table with only three games giving them any worries.

If Winfield comes back and plays well and no one else gets hurt the vikes could run the regular season table.

I agree, but I also think if we come out flat like last week against a team like Arizona, Giants or Cincy and we'll be in trouble. I guess that's why they play the games!!

Part of the reason they came out flat is because it was a pre-season game...Did you see all the trick plays they were trying right away? Against a better team, they will come out focused and play the right way and leave the fancy crap alone...Just like they have on their way to 8-1...
Anyways..the prediction portion of this message--
MN 38
Sea 10
Favre gets us 5 td's and then let's TJack play some more.

Hey Kooty, whos a Packers fan Did you miss the Skol Vikings? I never have been a Packers fan and never will be, I am anti Farve always have been, always will be.

I cant believe those idiots are going to re-sign Childress.....might as well as look to get Cullpepper back to Thats my favorite team the Vikings

P.S. the G.B. Tampa game was the most entertaining (for me) game of the year, how embarassing would it have been (or still be for that matter) to be a Packers fan?
