Holidays and self clean

Little off from fishing but a FWIW, I work in HVAC and appliance repair and every year we run into more than I care to think of, people who run the self clean on the oven just before the holidays...don't.
We're seeing more and more electronic controls go out during a clean cycle, due to the high heat.
Do your self a favor and self clean after the holiday when waiting for that new control to come in, isn't quite so critical.
Just a thought.
