Well, it was a beautiful day to be out on the water. The fish weren't really cooperating, but the rest of nature was.
Pulled this poor guy out of 24' of water.

Wow great pics Wade 
  That big tom we saw one in strut on the way up 
We experienced a tough bite also found a few small saugers in deep water and caught back-to-back sturgeons
Sorry couldnt get a pic of the huge one we saw caught im guessing 4 ft easy

I thought you guys when up to pool 4 to catch walleyes.  I guess if you need a pic of a walleye you can use the one I sent you today.

Sunday was a little more productive. Managed to find some eater sauger and some other species. Saw two sturgeon approx. 30" caught. I managed this guy and lost another one about twice as big right at the boat.
This filthy bugger was attached to the Paddlefish.
This should put an end to the puddle ducks taste better than diving ducks debate.

Brian, I thought you knew. You can fish for Lamprey. You just need to use large bait like a paddle fish.

I'm surprised it only had one. Paddles are like tootsie rolls for them lampreys!
That is a nice looking fish. The paddle I mean.

You should post the duck pics on the hunting side Ruger. We saw the turkeys on Saturday too.

Thanks Dean, however there is nothing to apologize for. It was an outstanding weekend. Warm weather, some cool accessory catches, big turkeys, and some waterfowl education. Plus we did get a meal of fresh sauger. Not sure what more I could ask for.

thanks for the great pic's. to cold for me but you got me thinking about getting the boat out. Looks like a fun day.
