January thaw winding down

#857487 - 01/20/10 05:05 PM

Well, it couldn't last forever, right?

The extended forecast calls for a return to more seasonal or below-seasonal temps starting early next week.

That makes this coming weekend that last weekend of "easy fishin" temperatures that Pool 4 open water fans are likely to see in the short term.

So, come on down to Everts and have fun with some of the saugers and walleyes that are making their winter homes nearby. Stock up on the new flukes, paddletails and blades that Dean has on hand, and hit the water for some late January open water laughs.

I wish P4 was 2 hours closer to me. I'd buy a cabin up there.

I'll be waiting to read the reports from the weekend.

Has there been any more talk about the I-pilot demos? Any idea of a date for this spring?
