Seen 4-5 boats at 10am yesterday fishing dam 15 on the river cam that they have set up. Any reports as to whats going on? I would really like to catch some walleyes this weekend. Maybe i will have to make the trip up to pool 4 never fished it but hey it might just be worth a try.

If at all possible hit between the wingdams by Credit Island. Target 8' to 12' of water. Fish are better and you wouldn't be pulling all those smaller fish out of 30' plus feet of water. If you deside to fish up by the dam, fish inside the lock by the 1450 mark.

Unless there's a major warm-up Marquette landing is your best bet. Snow covered the other day, but lookded a lot clearer as I left the Island yesterday. Got my boat fixed, picked it up this morning ! Fully expect to be out this weekend.
Marquette is a nice mid-point between the dam and points further downstream. Slough looked icy again on Thursday, but it's been warmer so should be navigable by the weekend.

River's clear, Marquette wide open. Pretty slow for me Monday, but I fought wind and icy guides. The fish are there, watch the forecast and pick your day. Or, if you're like me, go whenever the heck you get a chance to, weather or not.
Good luck, let us know how you did!

The landing is at Marquette street off River Dr in Davenport. Where are you coming from?
