MN Deer Classic this weekend-some pics

I was working at the MN Deer Classic this afternoon and evening, sure are some nice deer coming in already.
The show runs thru Sunday afternoon. The show is at the State Fair grounds.
Here are some pics I took this evening.
The first 2 pics was a deer that was taken in 1959, and went about 226 BC non-typ,
The next 2 pics was a nice deer taken near Hasting/Red Wing this season and went 228 non typ, very impressive deer in person.
And the last 2 pics was the alleged poached deer from this last season. It turned out that this mount is from the sheds from last year, NOT the rack from this year. This was measured at 181 typ. These sheds are also a 5 X 4 rack, the guy I talked to said the actual deer from this year is a true 4 X 4, and is wider and heavier. I hope to have pics of it next year.
Pretty impressive deer so far, did see some very nice sheds, but no giant ones.

I saw the mounted sheds at a local sportmens club event last weekend, very impressive. People that have seen the poached buck say that its even bigger and like you said a true 4X4. I had also heard about that Red Wing buck, wow what a pig that is as well!
