Reports from above Lewis and Clark last weekend said it was super slow. With dirty water dumping in from tibutaries that are near flooding things are far from stable. I'll bet things should shape up good in another week to 10 days in the Nebraska section of the Missouri.
I did here there were a few walleye caught below the Gavins Point dam. Things are a little more stable down there.
Good luck if you make it out. Sounds like our weather will rebound again this next week.
Have a buddy going up to Ft. Thompson this weekend, so should have a report early next week. Heard they weren't running much water below Ft. Randall because of the high water back east.
It's flood and mud time in our area (Sioux City to Niobrara). Everyone I'm talking to has said the bite has slowed a lot since the melt and rain hit. I drove along the river near Sioux City today and it looks like it could come over the banks any time.
