Matt's a class-act, and I got to see him and all the folks at TB work the floor on Friday.
The rods are a big draw, but also because they're willing to deal on anything, don't forget to check out accompanying reels, line, tackle, etc. Also, esp. on big ticket items like electronics, shacks, augers - bundling in one purchase will save you even more money as they'll give you an even better break.

Because I heard this second hand, I'm not going to mention prices. But one fella bought a portable fish house and a Lx-5. Not sure what the fish house price was but the Marcum was at an unheard of price!

I'll have to agree Joel. Matt is a very knowledgeable guy. A number of years ago I bought a couple of the custom ice rods they make. Matt said they were the best and he wasn't joking. If you haven't checked out their custom rods you're missing out!

If you missed Thorne Brothers at the show check out there new store on HWY 65 in Blaine. Very nice place and they have a ton of ice fishing stuff on display rite now along with bait. Take a look at there isles of musky lures to. Some of those things are crazy.
