In retrospect, I wish I had went into more detail about which rod is right for which situation. However, that may be explained best by the experts, in person. If you are a serious fisherman, you should really drive up to Thorne Bros and talk with Matt or Pat or Nellie. Tell them how you fish and they'll hook you up.
Now the custom rods aren't the kind of rod you are just gonna throw in a bucket and leave in the back of the truck, so they might not be for everyone. But once you have a chat with those guys, you'll know which rod is right for you.
