Ya' know, after you watch the video it leaves a guy wondering who actually got the short end out of the deal, the fish or Chris. Sure, Chris lands the fish. But the fish leaves Chris bleeding, covered in pike-poo and dripping with slime.
What say you, Chris? Draw? Ready for round two?

The way Chris keeps dialing in these big pike in the winter me might want to talk about a late ice tip up group trip up there. The pike season never closes.

No Doubt those big pike are becoming one of my favorite target fish. The power these beasts can unleash is hard to describe, but being spooled on jig sticks is very possible. I know!! Also losing a thumb is not out of the question. No problem though.....Pike cuts heal in at least 6 months  This is the 4th pike over the last year we've landed that has exceeded the 20lb threshold. I am really hoping to push one over 25lbs, but the biggest thus far is 23. I'm not sure what I enjoy most between hand to hand combat on the sheet or Slamming freaks in shallow water in the comfort of the new Skeeter!! Right now I'd say it is a draw!! Thank gosh I've got the comfy ride of the Skeeter 2100 to rest my beat up ice fishing body!!
Get your trips lined up for this spring boys!! Better doing it than reading about it anyday of the week!! Heck I'll throw in a free test RIDE on my 2010 2100 Walleye series BIG FISH KICKING....HEAT SEEKING......SPARKLING BEAUTY TOO!!

LOL!! Remember some of those beasts that broke us off, or simply shook the hook?? Not much question in my mind a few of those were 28+ walleyes that just lucked out, but a couple definately were pike in this class. That fish that darn near took Michael off his chair was a DOLPHIN!!
