Thanks Frank. I think these new features from Lakemaster are just the tip of the iceberg. I think we'll see more and more features that will allow a greater range of customization of the way the mapping data is displayed. And there's a number of current features that we didn't cover. Like how Lakemaster is organizing the available lakes on each chip as well as waypoints and other stored data. We didn't touch on those but will do so in the future as they make a great product that much more powerful and user friendly.

That is so cool. I wish they had this for my state. The Depth Range Highlight would be so nice to have.
The info/review on Jason Halfen's site is excellent.
I have embedded this video and linked to Jason's review on my site topfishfinders.com . There is also some other info on the Humminbird 4.700 update.

That is INSANE! He's demoing on an 1197, I'm looking at an 1157, but I assume that unit would do the same.

To be honest... we were pretty blown away by these new features as well. And yes the features we talked about in this video are available on all HB units. And we only talked about three of them. Wait until you see the new lake management/browser system that allows you to sort by lake name or by Hi-Def lake on the chip. Of all the new stuff that has come out in GPS mapping this past season the Lakemaster for Humminbird chips are the most impressive to me.
